Rayven Roberts will reign over the Carnival festivities of the more than 2,000 members of the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale, crowned recently during the organization’s annual Reveal Party.
Serving as grand marshal will be restauranteur and community leader Arkesha Smith Baquet.
“The Grand Tour: From the Gulf to Around the Globe” will be the theme for the 2027 festivities as announced at the annual Carnival kickoff event that also included induction of more than 320 new members, pushing the rolls to more than 2,180 representing 26 states.
Roberts, selected from three candidates, is a registered nurse, community advocate and third-generation member of the krewe. She is the daughter of the late Shawn Brock and Tamika Delatte.
