While no longer creating a Mardi Gras Ball and parade, the Krewe of Birney left a last effect on thousands of students in the Metairie area, teaching them the traditions of Mardi Gras while giving them a lesson is history, and social studies. We got the catch up with the lady that made it all possible, Ms. Kay Caruso.
